I recently visited Paris Texas. I enjoy taking random road trips throughout Texas. It is always good to get out of Dallas and explore the country side. Being from the North Country of the Adirondacks, I know what is like being from a small town. Especially small towns that have little hope of thriving in the next few decades.

This is not a critism of these places, it is just what is happening. Paris gave me this feeling. While the downtown and local homes were all beautiful, you could tell that it is a sleepy place. I place you would go to if you wanted to escape the world.

During the months of October and November, I will be taking a few trips throughout North Texas. Visiting far away lands that many haven't seen before. Some of these places include ACL, Marfa, Archer City, and Wichita Falls
